Dear Families of Kirkland and the surrounding areas...
We are here to support you during this challenging time. We know that working from home when also trying to educate your children is a very difficult task. We are here to help you and our online lesson programming has been very successful in our first two months.
In mid-March, after Kirkland became the hotspot of the Coronavirus in the US, we made the shift to online lessons and programming in just 48 hours. We're proud of our ability to pivot so quickly to meet the needs of our families while also continuing to make KAMP a safe space for kids online as much as we do this when we see them in person.
Starting in June, we'll be launching a line of online classes that will be for small groups to further assist you in your homeschooling and summer needs. Kids will be bored once school is over so we hope you'll take advantage of our array of online offerings. As of today, 5/21, we are still planning to run our August summer camps so stay tuned for more info and updates on that. Our June and July camps will be shifting to online activities as Washington rolls out Phase II of reopening.
We have an amazing staff of wonderful teachers who are working around the clock to provide the very best music education for your children. We are also now shifting many of our resources and teaching hours to developing online content available to all on our KAMP Music You Tube Channel so we hope you'll share this with your friends everywhere! This nice part about COVID 19 is that we're truly branching far beyond Kirkland in ways we've always dreamed of but never did!
Yours in loving our kids,
